Natural and dewy the Enlightened Trend makeup look keeps everyday stylish and easy, plus clean!!
I’m LOVING the enlightened makeup trend and have been wearing it for a few weeks now!! I love it for several reasons!!
First of all, it is a very soft, glowy look – minimal color, which I appreciate for ease and for a contemporary look. It brings a soft look to my face and creates a glow.
It’s SO simple – the products used to create the look multitask for a contemporary, stylish glow.
I thought it would be an amazing look for travel (or Zoom meetings under current circumstances). I’m all about making travel light and easy (once we all get back to traveling). I feel like there’s enough that is stressful about travel and keeping what you can control super manageable is key. I can’t remember the last time I checked a bag when traveling. I like to see how few clothes, shoes, and products I can get by with and yet feel put-together, stylish and cared for. This look exemplifies enlightened travel stylishly (or an effortless look for virtual meetings).
I started with my favorite skin care. I created my base with Dew Skin (my current color is #1) and Concealer Pen (my color is Light – that color, for me is seasonless). Be sure to use Concealer Pen followed by Mattifying Powder on the lids of eyes. Next, define the brows, if you like, with either Brow Pencil or Brow Gel – I use and LOVE both.
