dana bueno yoga

I began my practice of yoga in 1990 when I started delivering my organic breads to the yoga studio in my hometown. That started my introduction to yoga and I began taking classes. I have been practicing since then. Throughout the years, I have tried different styles of yoga, but conscious breath with movement has been my focus since the beginning. With each class, my energy and my spirit are renewed. To this day, I rely on breath and asana for clearing the connection to my intention.

The beauty of the yoga community is meeting people at different stages in their own evolution—starting a practice, maintaining a practice, or seeking ways to improve a practice. I realized I wanted to be a part of the journey of others by sharing my own yoga experience over the years through teaching.

I have been a college tennis player, an elementary school teacher, and the founder of an organic bakery and coffee shop. I am a mom of 3 children. My next chapter is teaching yoga.

I have been inspired by the teachers I have had on this journey, and I want to be that same kind of inspiration, as both teacher and learner sharing the wonderful experience of a yoga practice.
