dana bueno yoga

I found yoga in 1990 when I started delivering my bakery’s organic breads to the yoga studio in my hometown. I began taking classes there and have been practicing ever since. Throughout the years, I’ve tried different styles of yoga, but conscious breath with movement has been my focus since the beginning. With each practice, my energy and spirit are renewed.

The beauty of the yoga community is meeting people at different stages in their own evolution—starting a practice, maintaining a practice, or seeking ways to improve a practice. Teaching allows me to be a guide in the journey.

I have been a college tennis player, an elementary school teacher, and the founder of an organic bakery and coffee shop. I am a mom of 3 children.

I have been inspired by the teachers I have had on this journey, and I want to be that same kind of inspiration.
